I’ve loved music all my life, but have been singing publicly for only a small part of it, sporadically since around 2008. For me, singing has typically been a family affair. My sister, Melissa, and I sang at St. John Vianney Church together for a few years, and at weddings and funerals. Then our mom, Theresa, invited us to sing at Support Groups at WACC (Whittier Area Community Church). Needless to say, we both loved it and enjoyed being part of the ministry so much that we joined 3Braided Chord and it’s developed to what it is today.
Music has connected generations of my family, from my great grandparents, to both of my grandmothers and my maternal grandfather, to my parents, and to my sister and me. Growing up with a classically trained professional musician mom, and a dad who’s a big fan of rock and roll, my music tastes have always been fairly eclectic and a big part of who I am.
I’m so happy and grateful to be able to continue my musical journey with my 3 Braided Chord family and the special ministries we are a part of. We’re all very passionate about it!
