Meet the Band
We are a multi-generational, multi-ethnic group of musicians who came together to bring a message of hope to a broken world. Our name, 3Braided Chord, is inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:12; “A chord of three strands is not easily broken,” and reflects our values of faith, unity, and community. Our music is meant to encourage, inspire, uplift, and offer strength for the journey.

Our Approach
The five of us joined forces in 2014 to become 3Braided Chord -- an acoustic/vocal group with roots in classic rock, folk, pop, country, and worship music.
Each having our own musical backgrounds both in and outside of the church, we met through Whittier Area Community Church (WACC) at various times and solidified as a group through a ministry that is truly at the heart of 3BC. We fell in love with the Support Groups community at WACC, our homebase, where we lead worship every second and fourth Monday of the month.
We have also been involved with various other programs and charities, including First Day in Whittier; the Hillcrest Art Festival in La Habra; Angel City Cafe in Bellflower; Gospel Brunch in Hermosa Beach; the Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles; Relay for Life in Buena Park, Claremont, and La Verne; and the Whittier Area Car Show at WACC.
Our united mission is to share the message of Christ which is peace, joy, grace, hope, and love. We feel a strong call to reach those who are broken, hurting, and feel marginalized, and it is our prayer that God will continue to do a good work in us.
